CARDHOLDER AGREEMENT

Between: [Cardholder’s Name] (“Cardholder”) and [Issuing Bank’s Name] (“Bank”)

Subject: Cardholder Agreement for [Card Type] Card

I. General Terms:

• This Cardholder Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to the Cardholder’s use of the [Card Type] card (“Card”) issued by the Bank.
• The Cardholder is responsible for all unauthorized use of the Card.
• The Bank has the right to refuse service to any Cardholder who violates any of the terms of this Agreement.
• The Cardholder is responsible for any fees or charges imposed by the Bank or any third party.

II. Authorization and Use:

• The Cardholder authorizes the Bank to deduct money from the Cardholder’s account in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
• The Cardholder is responsible for keeping the Card safe and secure.
• The Cardholder is not permitted to use the Card for any fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.

III. Security Features:

• The Card has security features such as a magnetic stripe, chip and PIN to protect against fraud.
• The Cardholder should report any suspected fraud to the Bank immediately.

IV. Liability for Unauthorized Use:

• The Cardholder is liable for any unauthorized use of the Card that occurs as a result of the Cardholder’s negligence or failure to follow the terms of this Agreement.
• The Cardholder’s liability for unauthorized use may be reduced or eliminated if the Cardholder meets all of the requirements for dispute resolution.

V. Fees and Charges:

• The Bank may impose fees and charges for the use of the Card.
• The Cardholder is responsible for paying all fees and charges associated with the Card.

VI. Amendments:

• The Bank reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time.
• The Cardholder is responsible for keeping themselves informed of any amendments to this Agreement.

VII. Governing Law:

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Cardholder resides.

VIII. Termination:

• The Bank may terminate this Agreement at any time for any reason.
• The Cardholder may terminate this Agreement by written notice to the Bank.
