Acadru Secures $0.5 Million in Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Operations

Gurugram-based SaaS startup Acadru has recently closed a pre-Series A funding round led by AIG Direct LLC, along with a clutch of other investors. The startup has secured an impressive $0.5 million in funding, which will be used to drive market expansion and develop new content pathways.

Founded in 2016 by Abhishek Singhal and Kamini Vidisha, Acadru is an innovative online learning platform that empowers college and senior school students to develop their skills and explore their interests. The platform offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to learning, incorporating project-based activities, mini-modules, and AI-powered profile generation.

Through the use of Acadru’s platform, students can discover their passions, develop practical skills, and showcase their accomplishments. The platform provides contextual explorations that help learners elevate their learning through appropriate contexts to conceptual levels. Additionally, Acadru offers background material, projects, content flow ideas, and source material linkages for individual report and team projects, as well as resources to anchor research, analysis, and evaluation skills for learning explorations.

According to the company, Acadru has developed a vast repository of over 5,000 projects, with content stitched over 500 topics, and adds new material every week. The platform can be customized to meet the specific needs of a school and can be used across multiple use-case scenarios.

The fresh funding will enable Acadru to further enhance its content pathways and expand its reach, ultimately aiming to empower more students to explore their passions and develop practical skills. With its innovative approach to learning and gamification, Acadru is poised to revolutionize the education sector and make learning more engaging and effective.
