Bengaluru-based education technology (edtech) startup, ODA Class, has announced that it has raised $500,000 in its Series B round of funding from a consortium of investors, including Skywalker Education Technology Co. Ltd. (Singapore), Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China.

Key Highlights of the Funding

  • The latest funding round brings ODA Class’s total funding to $12.75 million.
  • The company had previously raised undisclosed amounts in its pre-Series A round from Yuanfudao, a Chinese education giant, as well as $9 million in 2021, $3 million in 2022, and an additional $250,000 in 2023.
  • The funds will be used to enhance digital marketing efforts, increase brand visibility, and expand the company’s reach to a broader audience.

The company utilizes AI technologies and innovative marketing strategies to provide high-quality education at accessible rates. With educators from IITs and NITs, ODA Class has served over 25,000 long-term students and aims to enroll 100,000 students in 2024 while enhancing its learning platform.

Financial Performance

  • ODA Class reported revenues of Rs 26.90 crore for FY22, which grew to Rs 63.76 crore in FY23 and further increased to Rs 65.81 crore in FY24.
  • The company optimized its expenditures, with costs reported at Rs 79.20 crore in FY22, Rs 107.81 crore in FY23, and Rs 85.20 crore in FY24.

This latest funding round is expected to propel ODA Class’s growth and expansion plans, enhancing its digital marketing efforts and increasing its market presence.
