Defence Robotics Startup Sharang Shakti Secures Rs 5 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding Round

Gurugram-based Defence robotics startup, Sharang Shakti, has received Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Amsterdam-based AUM Ventures and Venture Highway, along with participation from JK Group’s family office and other angel investors. The funding will be utilised for product development and expanding the team.

Sharang Shakti, co-founded in 2023 by Karan Goyal, Chirag Singla, Jitendra Singh, Gaurav Kumar, and Rishabh Choudhary, aims to innovate in airspace surveillance and airborne threat mitigation. The company is currently developing an anti-drone system that detects, tracks, and neutralises hostile drones, marking the beginning of several products in its pipeline.

The company is striving to build a comprehensive technology stack to enable the development of a broad range of robotic systems for defence applications, with an aim to emerge as the next-generation Lockheed Martin from India.
