Mumbai-based game development studio, GameEon, has successfully raised $1 million in its latest funding round co-led by several prominent investors, including SucSEED Indovation Fund, ICE VC, IAN, CD EQUIFINANCE, Nexus Global Opportunities Fund, Vivek Goel, Patni Family, and Tal64. This significant funding injection will enable the company to accelerate the creation of high-quality games for PC and console platforms, as well as launch the initial chapters of its highly anticipated game, Mumbai Gullies.

GameEon, co-founded by Nikhil Malankar and Kaustubh Jadhav in 2021, has already made significant progress in the gaming industry with its PC, console, and mobile games, including Kites Mumbai and Box Cricket. The company’s commitment to immersive storytelling and culturally rich experiences has resonated with gamers globally, with over 5,000 gamers providing valuable insights during product prototyping and market testing in 12 countries.

The fresh funds will be used to expand GameEon’s game development capabilities, enabling the team to create AA and AAA games that meet the high expectations of gamers worldwide. The company is also working on the highly ambitious project, Mumbai Gullies, which draws inspiration from the classic GTA Vice City.
