Global Care Secures $3 Million in Funding to Expand Medical Tourism Services

India-based non-hospital medical tourism company, Global Care, has announced that it has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round led by 35North India Discovery Fund – II. The funds will be utilized to enhance the company’s clinical excellence through strategic consulting and facilitating seamless access to patient care.

Launched in 2016 by Rajeev Taneja, Global Care offers specialized medical care across various disciplines in six countries, including India, Turkey, Dubai, Egypt, Germany, and Thailand. The company aims to bridge the healthcare gap globally by providing top-notch medical care to patients who cannot receive treatment in their home country.

With the fresh funding, Global Care plans to expand its healthcare services internationally and establish a global ecosystem of clinical services, including the creation of clinical corridors and support for patients requiring specialized care.

As part of its expansion strategy, the company will focus on key markets such as Eastern Africa, Francophone Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, SAARC nations, South-East Asia, and North Africa.

The investment by 35North India Discovery Fund – II marks its backing of another promising startup, with the fund having previously supported companies like SpeedLabs (Teevra Edutech), Nukleus Office Solutions, and Cloud Tailor, among others.

The successful funding round will enable Global Care to further solidify its position as a leading player in the medical tourism industry and provide innovative healthcare solutions to patients worldwide.
