Nurix AI Secures $27.5 Million in Funding to Expand AI Capabilities and Scale Operations
Nurix AI, a startup co-founded by serial entrepreneur Mukesh Bansal, has raised $27.5 million in funding to expand its technological base and scale its operations in Asia and North America. The funding was led by General Catalyst and Accel, with participation from Meraki Labs.
This investment is a culmination of Nurix’s seed and Series A funding, with the company having previously raised $12.5 million in seed funding. The additional $15 million in Series A funding will be used to further develop the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and build long-term partnerships with AI hardware and product companies.
Nurix AI provides custom AI-native services that integrate with existing enterprise workflows, helping businesses implement AI agents in practical, reliable, and operationally aligned ways. Mukesh Bansal, founder of Nurix AI, is a seasoned entrepreneur who has sold one company and raised millions of dollars from prominent investors. Before starting Nurix, he was the head of commerce and advertising at Walmart-owned Flipkart, which he joined after selling his previous company, Myntra. He has also co-founded Cult.fit, a unicorn under Tata Digital, and has invested in several other startups.
The additional funding from General Catalyst and Accel will enable Nurix AI to expand its presence in Asia and North America, where there is a growing demand for AI-powered solutions.
