Majestic Auto Ltd Company History

The company converted to a Public Limited company on 2nd April, 1977. The name of the company was changed to M/s Majestic Auto limited and a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on 9th August, 1977.

The company diversified into the manufacture of 49CC Mopeds under the brand name of HERO MAJESTIC. It became the largest producer of Mopeds in India. It has grown to catering customers and became a renowned brand name in the Moped production by recording a phenomenal growth, every year, in its production capacity.

2000 - The Board has approved to issue 2,50,00,000 - 6 per cent non-convertible

non cumulative preference shares of Rs 10 each at par in two parts - A and B

of Rs 5 each on private placement basis to the promoters and other group

companies as may be decided by the board.

Majestic Auto Ltd has appointed Sh. S. S. Khosla as additional director of the Company in the category of Non-executive Independent Director.

Majestic Auto Ltd has appointed Ms. Ashima Munjal as an additional director of the Company in the category of Non-executive Director.

Majestic Auto Limited got approval for acquisition of Sharan Hospitality Private Limited by NCLT, Mumbai".
