Bajaj Hindustan Ltd had acquired the 5,000 tcd plant of Monnet Sugar Ltd at Unn (Muzaffarnagar district) in Uttar Pradesh.

Members of the extraordinary general meeting of the company had decided for the right issue of the company.
Also decided to increase the authorized capital of the company for the said rights issue.

The company had executed and agreement to sell its mill to Sir Shadi Lal Enterprises Ltd.
Further, the company had sold its sugar mill as a going concern to SSEL, with effect from the closing of business hours on 24 September 2007.
