Definition of Equity Trading


Equity trading refers to the purchase or sale of equity (a unit of ownership in a company – also called stock or share) in the share market through a registered trading account. In India there are two primary stock exchanges: the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
