Acquisition of assets and liabilities of partnership business

of M/s K Narasimha Reddy & Co

Our Company had acquired, at their book values the assets and

liabilities of partnership business of M/s K Narasimha Reddy & Co.

(the firm) for a total consideration of Rs.31.86 million w.e.f.

April 1, 1997. At the time of acquisition, the firm was engaged

in the business of undertaking civil and mechanical contracts work.

The firm was constituted in the year 1979 and was e-constituted

on several occasions. At the time of acquisition following

KNR Constructions Ltd has bagged order worth of Rs. 231.28 Crores.

KNR Constructions Ltd has established a wholly owned Subsidiary in Ras Al Khaimah, IJAE in the Name "KNRCL FZE" and all necessary statutory formalities in this regard have been complied. This Subsidiary is engaged in General Trading Activities.

KNR Constructions Ltd has 50:25:25 joint venture with JKM Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. and Kamala Constructions has been awarded by Government of Bihar, Water Resources Department an order worth Rs 225.27 Crcres towards "All works (including Canal System & Buildings) under E.R.M. (Extension, Renovation & Modernisation) of Eastern Kosi Canal System in the State of Bihar.

KNR Constructions Ltd has that one of Company's Wholly owned Subsidiary Company "KNR Infrastructure Projects Private Limited" has successfully completed its first shipment of IRON ORE FINES export to CHINA.

The Company has been awarded by NHAI an order towards "Two Laning of Muzaffarpur-Barauni section of NH-28 from KM 519.600 to KM 627.000 in the State of Bihar Under NHDP phase IVB through Public Private Partnership (PPP) ON Design.

The Company have been awarded by M/s. GMR Projects Private Limited & M/s. GMR Kishangarh Udaipur Ahmedabad Expressways Limited, the Project of "DESIGN, BUILD, FINANCE, OPERATE, AND TRANSFER (DBFOT) TO AUGMENT THE EXISTING ROAD ON THE KISHANGARH UDAIPUR AHMEDABAD SECTION OF NATIONAL HIGHWAY No. NH -79A, NH - 79, NH - 76 AND NH - 8 IN THE STATES OF RAJASTHAN AND GUJARAT on a TURNKEY FIXED EPC PRICE BASIS, the worth of which is Rs. 620,00,00,000 (Rupees Six Hundred Twenty Crores only).

KNR Construc - Completion of work in record period of 73 days against scheduled period of 180 days.
