The Company has signedan MoU with General Cable Corporation, a US wire and cable

manufacturing company, to form a 50:50 joint venture company in the US to manufacture

and market optical fibre cable products.

The Company has signed an MoU with General Cable Corporation US, whereby GCC's

existing optical fibre cable manufacturing operations would be spun off into a joint venture.

The Credit Rating Information Services of India Ltd. Crisil has assigned a rating of `P1+'

indicating `very strong' to the Rs 150 crore commercial paper programme of the company.
